Each of our bespoke access projects is specific to the needs of the partner and builds on our experience of working with the PhD community to develop key academic skills and self-efficacy to support students accessing university.
We partner with organisations to support university access in the following three ways:
Partner organisations range from universities to multi-academy trusts to other education or social mobility organisations.
Make your Mark has been created to boost attainment for less advantaged students.
The programme was developed using research evidence and school leader insights, and drew on our three years of experience as an official tuition partner of the National Tutoring Programme.
Make your Mark aims to boost the attainment of Year 10 students, via 12 hours of small group tutoring. Tutorials focus on the English or maths curriculum and embed study strategies throughout. Our tutors are current undergraduate and PhD students from our partner universities who have undergone rigorous assessment and undertaken our high-quality training.
