Within each course there are 5 modules. Lead Teachers will liaise with tutors to select 3 modules out of the 5 for specific groups to focus on over the 15-hour tutoring block.
Courses have been designed in collaboration with our partners to stretch and challenge pupils, especially mid-high attainers, to catch up.
Tutors will be able to re-engage and rebuild pupils’ confidence in core subjects and inspire them through their passion for their subject area.

Our English language and literature course for KS3 and KS4 aims to develop and stretch pupils’ critical thinking, analysis, and creative writing skills. The English course is designed to fit the requirements of every examination board.

The Brilliant Tutoring Programme Maths course is designed to develop and challenge pupils’ ability in core maths topics. The KS3 Maths course aims to develop pupils’ fluency so that they are confident in approaching KS4 content. Examples from the module list include:
The KS4 Maths course offers module content which strengthens and challenge pupils’ knowledge. The course places emphasis on assessment style questions. Examples include:
Group 1 is blasting ahead. We were able to spend time going through some more complex topics looking harder at the underlying mathematics and solving real world problems. Most of this group should be thinking about doing Maths A level or even degree level Maths.
