Pupils get a taste of university life

The Haringey Advertiser – Pupils get a taste of university life

STUDENTS from two Haringey schools got a taste of university life on a visit to Cambridge last week.

Year 10 pupils from Heartlands High School, in Station Road, Wood Green, and Northumberland Park Community School, in Trulock Road, Tottenham, were among 48 students to receive tours and tutorial sessions at Newnham College.

The event was organised by the Brilliant Club, which works with state schools to encourage more pupils to go to university.
