The candidates listed below have passed the application and interview process with Researchers in Schools. This process includes delivering a mini lesson on an aspect of their PhD aimed at GCSE students. These candidates want to be placed in and around Nottingham.
The candidates below have passed the initial screening of their written application to Researchers in Schools. They have been assessed on motivation, adaptability, communication and knowledge and will shortly be interviewed by a member of the team.

Additionally, participants deliver activities and projects designed to meet a specific need in school, such as:
Physics Masterclass: a day’s worth of sessions on space including a talk from an astronaut
Careers Drop Down Day: sessions on different career routes and mock interviews
Oxbridge Interview Support: practical preparation and practice interview sessions for Year 12 Oxbridge applicants
Cubes in Space: a global science competition in which students design an experiment to send a cube into space
Grade 9 Club: extra-curricular stretch and challenge sessions for GCSE students
