Charity shortlisted for Third Sector Awards

05 Aug 2019

The Brilliant Club is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for two prestigious Third Sector Awards.

The charity has been shortlisted in the Best Use of Impact Reporting category for its School Impact Reports, which are provided to each of the charity’s 800 school partners. These reports include details of the programme undertaken; pupil attendance and attainment in comparison with our regional and national averages; and results from pupil self-evaluation surveys. The reports also aim to support teachers in sharing this information with colleagues.

The Brilliant Club is alongside three other charities on the shortlist for the Charity of the Year award, which rewards significant achievement, evaluation and impact over the past year. In 2018-19, the charity expanded its provision to all four nations of the UK, as well as continuing to deliver its programmes in hard-to-reach rural and coastal areas.

It also enhanced its reputation for robust research and evaluation by demonstrating a statisticallysignificant impact on pupil progression to highly-selective universities for the third year running, as measured by an independent control group analysis by UCAS.

The winners of the Third Sector Awards will be announced on 19 September at an event in London.
