The school contribution is £179 per pupil, a total of £2,148 per placement which consists of 12 pupils. The charity’s costs of running the programme are also subsidised through contributions from our university partners and external grants and donations.
The Brilliant Club has developed contingency plans to ensure Scholars Programme placements can go ahead, even if the COVID-19 pandemic leads to continued social distancing or school closures. These may include modifications to how the programme is delivered. All pupils will still receive a sustained university-style learning experience through tutoring with a PhD researcher along with high-quality information, advice and guidance to help them progress to a highly-selective university. Read about our contingency plans for 2020-21 here and get in touch to discuss how we can support your school during this time.
Schools can sign up at any time in the school year. However, we advise signing up in advance of the deadlines here.
Please note that there might be regional differences with deadlines and terms. Please download the relevant flyer for up to date information.
