The next deadline for tutoring on The Scholars Programme is Sunday 15th December.

We are now only accepting applications for Scholars Programme tutors from the following areas: Essex, Southend, Thurrock, Lincoln, Hertfordshire, Greater London, Durham and Salford.

Any applications that are not from these areas will not be processed, but we will contact you if we re-open in your local area.

Join the Dots applications for 2024/25 are now closed.

Criminal Convictions

The Brilliant Club provides enhanced disclosure DBS checks for all its PhD tutors. These show all unspent convictions, and certain spent convictions.

Whilst having a conviction does not automatically disqualify anyone from working as a tutor, we consider convictions on an individual basis through conversations with our PhD tutors and potential placement schools.
