This session will be most useful for Brilliant Club tutors who were educated outside the UK. It reviews the different terminologies and structures associated with the education systems in all four nations of the UK and, most importantly, what other academic pressures or pinch points your pupils might be experiencing alongside their work with you.
This session is designed for Scholars Programme tutors who have designed and delivered their own course and who are aiming to apply for Associate Fellowship through AdvanceHE or AFHEA. If you’re not sure what this is, this elective will also introduce you to AdvanceHE and its relevance to researchers. The elective also includes a further supporting document that will be useful in articulating how your Scholars Programme experience supports your application to Advance HE.
