Three new trustees appointed

We are pleased to welcome three new appointments to the charity’s Board of Trustees, which is chaired by Dr Josephine Valentine OBE.

Hannah Chukwu is The Brilliant Club’s first ever Young Trustee. As the charity looks to put young people’s voices at the forefront of its work, Hannah will share her knowledge and experience to help serve The Brilliant Club’s mission.

Hannah works on the Lit in Colour campaign at Penguin Random House and The Runnymede Trust. She recently won the London Book Fair Young Talent Trailblazer Award. Hannah is a graduate of the University of Oxford and has worked on the partnership between Worcester College, Oxford, and The Brilliant Club. As a member of the Board of Trustees, she will lead on establishing the charity’s Experience Experts Panel.

Also appointed to the Board is Pawan Dhir, who joins as an accountant trustee. Pawan, who has lived experience of widening participation, is a graduate in Physics from the University of Manchester. Pawan is Managing Director of Global Head of Financial Accounting & Controlling at UBS, and formerly worked for Morgan Stanley.

The third new appointee is Adriana Selage, who has a wealth of digital expertise. Adriana is Head of Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations, EMEA Devices and Services at Google, where she has worked for the last decade. Adriana studied at Universitatea de Vest din Timisoaraara before leading AISEC, an international youth-run leadership development programme for students.
